HOW TO GET FEDERAL HOLIDAY NAMED AFTER YOU -- CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS STYLE

Did everyone enjoy their long Columbus day weekend?  Yeah, I didn't think so because only a select population actually got yesterday off.  Sorry I wasn't able to entertain the rest of the population with an entry yesterday because I was part of that select population.

I still find it silly that some employers still recognize Columbus Day as a paid holiday.  Seriously.  Let's see if he would be able to pull what he did back in 1492 off today.  If anything, we should celebrate him for being the best deal maker in history rather than for discovering America.  He left not knowing where he was going.  He arrived not knowing where he was.  And he returned not knowing where he had been.  And he did it all on borrowed money.

I would love my job if I were able to do that with some of my projects and proposals.
